STRIKING ANTIQUE ENGLISH 9K GOLD & FACETED MOSS AGATE LINK BRACELET
An antique English semi-translucent moss agate bracelet, with beautiful faceted agate panels and 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) fastener & fittings.
Beautiful, collectible & wearable too!
CONDITION
: Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. A few tiny nicks/fleabites to links, nothing serious. Clasp tongue possibly an old replacement? Gold links later replacements. Probably originally a necklace and adapted in antiquity.
DATE/MARKS
: 19th Century. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: Links from 14 x 11 mm to 25 mm diameter, 7 ½ inches wearable length (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 25.0 grams.
