extends a single channel of 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet with pass-through PoE over coaxial cable, when used with the EC-1500C Series local or local/remote units. DIP switches are provided for the user to select local or remote settings. The extender is suitable for applications where the existing coaxial cable needs to be leveraged for transmission of IP signals.
The EC-1504C-W can pass through PoE (up to 15W) to the powered devices in configurations that have a single cable connected to the camera. In addition, it can be powered from a PoE source, allowing for an installed network where power is not readily available. It provides flexibility for extending a powered device (PD) over long-distance copper without any programming required.
