The trunk for sale in this auction has an inside dimension (wood to wood) 24" x 14" x 14" high when closed.
These new trunks are stocked in both 1/4" & 3/8" plywood with a heavy PVC laminate on the outside and a bare wood inside. The top lid is laminated on BOTH sides for rigidity and cosmetics. The complete perimeter is surrounded and riveted with a unique custom made aluminum extrusion with a built in track to accept the top lid and hold it securely and flush to the top. Strong polyethylene flexible swivel tabs are used to keep the lid on and will NOT break off. All recessed handles (2, OR 4 depending on size of trunk) are used on these cases. Caster kits, 1/2" foam lining, and locking hasps are also sold as an option. All 1/4" trunks come with flat steel corners and all 3/8" trunks come with heavy gauge ball corners.
