Description
This is such an incredible bracelet. It dates from the early 1800s. We believe it to be of Dutch origin. The inside is solid 14K yellow gold, with the outside being sterling silver. There are a crazy amount of rose cut diamonds in this bracelet. Surprisingly, the diamonds are all in good condition with a couple of inclusions that is to be expected in rose cuts of this era, but definitely not salt and pepper. Just the center diamond in it's collet setting measures at roughly 6.7mm giving a very very rough estimate of 0.5 carats. There are 93 diamonds in total. The larger diamonds are in collet settings and the balance in bead prongs, all rose cut diamonds set in silver. The diamonds follow the bracelet around its entirety. They bracelet is heavily decorated in very striking details on all aspects, inside outside & the edges..... It is a work of art that is meticulously crafted. The bracelet is fitted with its original clasp which functions perfectly. It is also accompanied by an eye clasp and a safety chain. I believe the safety chain was a replacement but it is hallmarked for 14K. This bracelet is in immaculate condition. It is an original Georgian Era piece that was rarely worn and is presented in excellent condition, all stones appear to be original with not one missing.....Measurements:
