ANTIQUE ENGLISH REGENCY PERIOD 15K GOLD AGATE CANNETILLE SEAL FOB / CHARM c1820
An antique English 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) fob, with cannetille & applied frame decoration, and set with a polished carnelian agate seal, as yet uncut.
Collectable & wearable too!
CONDITION
: Some signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Some denting/distortion to frame - please see pictures. Seal possibly an old replacement. Probably a couple of old repairs to gold work here and there.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1820. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 20 mm tall, base 14 x 11 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 2.7 grams.
