Lauson engines were manufactured in New Holstein, WI.
The Lauson Manufacturing Company was founded in 1895 by John Lauson and grew to be one of the largest manufacturers of small gasoline engines in the United States. in 1956 Lauson was purchased by Tecumesh Products.
