Very solid old '54 Ford purchased from an estate here in Kansas.  It had been a project of an older gentlemen, who had passed away.  Some vehicles look better in pictures, but this one actually looks better in person.  Here is a quick run down of the pickup.
This is a complete, running and driving pickup - the engine starts easy, sounds great, carries good oil pressure, and appears to have no leaks.  I was told that the previous owner overhauled the engine - and it only has a few miles on it.  I cannot verify this - but it sure looks and sounds like it.  I was also told he went through the brake system - and this appears to be correct, although the brakes need adjusted, and one seems to stick a bit.  The seat was re-done, and it is clean and comfortable, but it was a amateur job.  It has new wood in the bed, and it looks very nice - it is even a factory Ford flatbed!  I'm guessing that is fairly rare.  When I got it, the grill and headlights were off of the truck, I stuck them back on just to show that everything is there, there are a handful of bolts that will need to be put in yet (all in the glovebox) and lights still need to be hooked up.
If you look at the body, you can tell that this old truck is extremely solid, with very little rust anywhere, solid floorboards, etc.  All in all - this is just a great old truck, that needs a weekend or two of tinkering to finish up.  It had sat for some time, and I'm guessing because of this, the carburetor needs a little choke to stay running, and I'm sure there will be a couple of small things here and there, but overall a rock solid, running driving classic to go have some fun with!  Pickup comes with a good Kansas title.
