Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the classic, classic truck, and muscle car business. The 1940 Ford 1/2-ton pickup is regarded by many enthusiasts as one of the best-looking mass-produced trucks ever made. The combination of Eugene "Bob" Gregorie's beautiful new styling for its automobiles and Ford's decision to adopt this automotive styling for its trucks for the first time since 1932 resulted in an all-time classic. Our sexy silver 1940 Ford successfully blends this iconic styling with some choice modern amenities for increased comfort and safety. Beneath the unusual triangular hood is a 350 V8 that's been fortified with a Holley carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, and an aluminum radiator with twin electric fans. Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, power leather bucket seats (from Infiniti), Vintage Air Heat/Cool/Defrost system, 3-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter, custom interior with painted dash and Dolphin gauges, sprayed-on bedliner, toolbox, and slick Riddler alloy wheels wrapped with low-profile rubber (225/40ZR18 F, 285/35ZR22 R). This cruiser rides and drives amazingly well, thanks in part to a GM front clip with independent suspension and well-matched spring/shock rates. With the exception of the rear fenders this is an all-steel classic that turns heads and generates smiles wherever it goes. Built to drive, this gorgeous 81-year-old does show some nicks and chips from regular use. Come see the team that makes dreams a reality. Street Dreams 830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
